Job Description:

Genesis10 is seeking a Lead Software Engineer. This role is with a manufacturing company in Lisle, IL. This is an on-site, 12+ month, contract position.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and direction for two cross-functional delivery teams
Design and implement modern architecture solutions beyond traditional platforms like Pega
Stay hands-on with code and contribute to the engineering process
Drive adoption of modern development practices (DevOps, automation, CI/CD, microservices)
Collaborate with senior IT leadership, product managers, and stakeholders to align on engineering goals
Foster a high-performance culture and mentor engineering talent across teams


Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience leading modern engineering teams in high-performance environments Strong expertise in software architecture, cloud-native development, and scalable systems design
Experience with Pega is a plus
Ability to guide teams through platform modernization efforts
Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and secure, scalable design principles
